TT Elite was founded in 2021 by former professional soccer player, Michael Kim. Based in the DMV area, Michael is passionate about the sport and hopes to share his extensive knowledge and expertise to the next generation of players. Michael began playing soccer at the age of 7 and went on to become a standout varsity, collegiate, and professional player. In high school, Michael played for the Robinson varsity team, where he received the All-Metropolitan sports award for high school athletes. He then won the Rookie of the Tournament award during his time at Hampden-Sydney College, a NCAA Division III school located in Farmville, VA.  

 

After college, Michael landed a professional contract in Japan, where he played for AS Laranja Kyoto from 2019 through 2020 as a forward/midfielder. When he returned to the States, Michael received multiple contract offers to continue playing professionally in the United Soccer League. However, his priorities had shifted to growing TT Elite and giving back to the soccer community. Now, Michael spends his time training dozens of clients, who range from elementary to college-level and who vary in their experience and goals. On the weekends, Michael continues to play soccer for Steel Pulse FC, an Eastern Premier Soccer League team.  From his local career and time abroad, Michael has gained expertise in sports psychology, athletic performance enhancement, and speed and strength conditioning.

 

Through his private sessions, Michael’s clients are able to gain valuable skills and game strategies that playing club or varsity alone can’t produce. Michael dedicates his time and efforts to each of his clients to create individualized training programs tailored specifically to their needs. Through his private training, tactical analysis sessions, and take-home practice drills, Michael ensures that every client improves their play as quickly as possible.
